These lightweight PONY Flair needles are made of durable hardwood maple and are silky smooth to the touch. In addition, they are chemical-free and biodegradable.

These knitting needles are colored with a natural lacquer infused with vegetable dyes. The production of this unique collection is done by traditional artisans in India who apply the colored lacquer by hand using a unique old method.
The origin of this technique is in ancient Persia.
Today, in a small part of India, there are still a few artisans who can work with this ancient technique. The production of Pony Flair knitting needles now provides valuable income for this small community.
